布隆伯格第14轮控烟行动计划赠款项目申请通告

从现在开始,接受赠款项目的申请。
提交项目申请的最后期限是美国东部标准时间(格林威治时间5点)星期五,2013年7月26日。
一个在低收入和中等收入国家、减少烟草使用的全球行动项目,是在2006年12月启动的,这是通过竞争性的选择赠与者;资金由迈克尔R·布隆伯格提供。控烟项目是由国际肺健联盟(联合会)和无烟草青少年运动管理。

Announcing Round 14 of the Bloomberg Initiative Grants Program

Project Ideas are now being accepted for Round Fourteen of the Grants
Program.
The deadline for submission of Project Ideas is 12:00 hours, US Eastern
Standard Time (GMT -5 hours) on Friday, 26 July 2013.
A Global Initiative to Reduce Tobacco Use in low- and middle-income
countries was launched in December 2006 and is a competitively awarded
grants program, funded by Michael R. Bloomberg. The grants program is
managed by the International Union against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease
(The Union) and the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids.
Proposals must focus on achieving policy change that will lead to
substantial reductions in tobacco use. Priority will be given to
projects that lead to sustainable improvements in tobacco policies, in
particular:
• Tax and price measures, including anti-smuggling measures
• Direct and indirect advertising bans and effective enforcement of
bans, including promotion and sponsorship
• Establishment of smoke-free workplaces and public places, and
effective enforcement of smoke-free policies
• Implementation of graphic warning labels on tobacco products
• Other evidence-based regulatory/legislative initiatives
The grants program can also support, where improving tobacco policy is
their central goal:
• Development of strategic alliances and coalitions
• Monitoring Industry behaviour and practices
• Strategic litigation
